Winter Break Messagehttp://cam.scdsb.on.ca/about-us/news/school-news/467Winter Break Message

Before students depart for the Winter Break, we want to address the ongoing situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, we have not been informed that there will be any change in learning mode when students return from the Winter Break. As such, we are planning for the regular return to in-person learning on Jan. 3, 2022.

With that said, it is important that we are prepared to respond to public health measures that could include the need to move to a remote learning model. We encourage you to ask your child(ren) to take their personal belongings home with them on Friday, Dec. 17. This will also allow our custodial staff the opportunity to complete a deep clean while students and staff are out of the building.

The decision to move students from in-person learning to remote learning would be made by the Ministry of Education in consultation with public health officials. Should that decision be made, we will communicate directly with you to discuss next steps, including information on how to access technology, if required, for the purpose of remote learning.
