Character Education

CharacterLine_no_White_spaces.jpg

We teach more than academics.  Our Commit to Character program nurtures universal character traits that transcend racial, religious, socio-economic and cultural lines.

Our entire school works together to create a community that is welcoming and inclusive.  The 10 character traits below are modeled, taught, expected, celebrated and practiced in our everyday actions.

Monthly assemblies are held at Cameron Street where students are not only recognized for demonstrating the character traits, but also have the opportunity to share student learning, special events, music, student-created video presentations and participate in spirit activities.  Information on our assemblies and spirit days can be found by clicking on the links provided.
